Liquor & Gaming NSW, the regulatory body in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW), has successfully prosecuted sports betting operator Topbetta for encouraging state residents to participate in gambling.
NSW-based Topbetta, which is licensed by the Norfolk Island Gaming Authority, was convicted on three counts of publishing gambling advertising on its website between October 2014 and May 2015.
