Stockholm-listed performance marketing specialist Catena Media has strengthened its position in Asia with the acquisition of an unnamed Japanese affiliate for a total purchase price of US$5.5m.
Catena described the acquired assets as some of the highest ranked casino websites in Japan, publishing unique quality content aimed at Japanese players.
The company will pay $4m upon transfer of the assets, which is expected to occur later this month, with $1.5m payable six months after completion.
