Online gaming operator Betsafe has appointed media planning and buying agency Rocket to run its multi-million pound UK advertising campaign.

Rocket, part of New York-listed Omnicom Media Group, was selected to manage the UK media planning and buying for the Betsson brand following a competitive pitch.

The appointment comes as Betsafe looks to increase its presence in the UK market, having recently brought in Frank as the brand's lead PR agency, whilst further leveraging the recent partnerships it has formed with Manchester City FC and Gumball 3000.

Chief client officer Nick Walker will lead the account at Rocket.

Established in 1997, Rocket’s major clients include UKTV, Co-op, Ferrero and SEGA.
