Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has agreed a partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Los Angeles Galaxy which will see it benefit from branding across the club’s StubHub Center stadium.

In addition to branding and in-stadium elements, the Galaxy and DraftKings will partner for once-in-a-lifetime VIP experiences and cash prizes through exclusive contests.

“We are very proud to partner with DraftKings and continue to enhance the LA Galaxy fan experience at StubHub Center,” said Robert Vartan, director of partnership sales at LA Galaxy and AEG Global Partnerships, which brokered the deal. “This partnership will launch numerous unique and entertaining opportunities for Galaxy fans and guests at StubHub Center. We look forward to a successful relationship with DraftKings.”

As part of the agreement, StubHub Center will feature a designated DraftKings Entrance where fans will have the opportunity to make picks before each Galaxy game, as well as a DraftKings area located in the concourse at StubHub Center giving fans the opportunity to play select MLS contests.

LA Galaxy is one of the MLS's most decorated clubs, having won the MLS Cup five times. In 2007, the club made headlines by signing English footballer David Beckham from Real Madrid. Other recent signings include Landon Donovan, Robbie Keana, Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole.
