Online gaming operator Betfair will be the official betting partner for Premier League club Arsenal FC in the UK, Europe, South and Central America, following the renewal and expansion of its existing agreement.

The expanded partnership will run until 2019 and gives Betfair increased branding at all domestic fixtures played at Emirates Stadium and additional hospitality on a matchday for their key clients and customers.

Last season, Betfair was the club’s official betting partner for Europe, although this excluded the UK, Ireland, Italy and Russia.

Arsenal’s chief commercial officer Vinai Venkatesham commented: “We are delighted to be continuing our association with Betfair following a successful partnership to date.

“We look forward to working together to further engage Arsenal supporters in the UK, Europe, Central and South America.”

Betfair will also have access to first team players to develop promotional and marketing activities, and can engage with the club’s broad support base through Arsenal’s extensive online and social media channels.

Betfair, now merged with Paddy Power, plans to expand its offering to Arsenal supporters through a combination of industry-leading offers and exclusive bets around key fixtures throughout the season.

Last season Betfair secured betting partnerships with five Premier League football clubs including Arsenal, Southampton, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Premier League winners Leicester City.
