Scientific Games will launch a second promotional poker event in Las Vegas later this year to showcase its Shuffle Master proprietary poker table games.

The second annual Shuffle Master Classic poker event takes place on September 26th in conjunction with the 2016 Global Gaming Expo (G2E Las Vegas), and builds on the success of the inaugural event last year.

The Shuffle Master Classic will culminate in the Three Card Poker National Championship event at the Venetian. The top seven players will be awarded a share of the $250,000 purse, with the winner receiving the top prize of $100,000 in cash.

Qualification for the poker event will take place at 219 participating casinos across the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas until August 31st.

To qualify, players must hit a ‘classic hand’ on one of ten Shuffle Master proprietary table games; Three Card Poker, DJ Wild, Flushes Gone Wild, Four Card Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let it Ride, Mississippi Stud, Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em, Texas Hold 'Em Bonus and Crazy 4 Poker.

A ‘classic hand’ is a six card straight flush in Three Card Poker or a five card royal flush in any of the other nine games.

"This innovative proprietary table games promotional event provides an exciting experience for players and offers a unique marketing opportunity for participating casinos,” said Roger Snow, SVP of table and utility products, gaming at Scientific Games.

“With a 33-year heritage of gaming industry innovation, we are thrilled to build upon a legacy of excellence in Shuffle Master table game products by sponsoring this promotional event.”
