BetStars, the sports betting brand of PokerStars owner Rational Group, has pledged to take greater care over its advertising promotions after omitting key conditions from an ad for a money back promotion.

The promise was made in response to a ruling this week by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), which adjudged the operator to have breached the CAP Code on two counts.

The failure to include key terms and conditions in the ad was described by BetStars as “an error” that resulted from size constraints of the banner link used.
