A promotional offer by Cozy Games-powered bingo site Big Bucks Bingo has been banned by the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for misleading consumers by failing to disclose the need to make a deposit before taking advantage of the offer.

A direct email from Big Bucks Bingo told players to use the EXLC10 code for a £10 bonus, also stating that players would be given 100 free spins after logging into the site. Beneath a button labelled 'PLAY NOW' text stated, "All bonuses are subject to the Big Bucks Bingo bonus policy."

A complainant found that they had to make a deposit and play through the funds before they could withdraw any winnings, and challenged whether this made the ad misleading. They also queried whether the 100 free spins offer misled players, as they understood consumers were given 100 "free" paylines instead.
