Romania's BaumBet has signed a deal with digital marketing specialist Beehive to boost its presence in the country's recently re-regulated online gaming market.

BaumBet is an established retail gaming brand in Romania and has begun to ramp up its online presence following the passage of new iGaming legislation in 2016.

The agreement with Beehive will see it use the marketing service provider's platform and data-driven solution to analyse, optimise and monetise players across all channels.

"The Romanian gaming market is thriving and competition is intense, which is why we have brought in Beehive to help us gain an edge through data-driven marketing," Octavian Manu, chief executive of Baum’s online gaming arm said.

"Beehive's innovative marketing platform enables us to drill down into our database in ways we hadn't thought possible, and communicate with our players across the channels," he explained. "The team at Beehive has been extremely supportive and we look forward to building a long and fruitful relationship together."
