A cross-party group of Minnesota Senators, including Senate president Jeremy Miller and assistant majority leader Karin Housley, have introduced legislation to authorise and regulate sports betting.
The proposed legislation would establish the Minnesota Sports Wagering Commission, which would be tasked with developing regulations for the activity and providing oversight for both in-person and remote sports betting.
