Frankfurt-listed gaming operator mybet is aiming to raise its profile among football fans as co-sponsor and exclusive sports betting partner of Bundesliga team Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The partnership covers the next two Bundesliga seasons and offers mybet branding opportunities around the team's Borussia Park stadium, as well as across online, print and social media channels and club TV and radio programmes.
"We are very pleased by this partnership with mybet as an established player in the sports betting market for more than 15 years," Borussia Mönchengladbach director of sponsorship, catering and events Guido Uhle said.
The partnership with Mönchengladbach, one of Germany's most successful clubs, follows the launch of mybet's new sports betting platform earlier this year.
"Football is by far the most important sport when it comes to sports betting," mybet chief executive Markus Peuler explained. "As our newly developed online product platform is now operating, it was time for mybet to again be present on the stage of the football Bundesliga.
"With Borussia Mönchengladbach we are supporting a club, whose image and development in the last couple of years fit our own goals perfectly."
