Ladbrokes Coral has sealed its third English football partnership this month with the announcement of a deal between Coral and Middlesbrough FC.

Coral will serve as the Championship club's official partner for the next three seasons, having collaborated on a number of commercial activities during the 2016-17 Premier League season.

This season ended with Middlesborough returning to the second division of English football.

The new three-season deal will see Coral provide matchday betting services at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium, with winning bettors able to collect their winnings at any Coral betting shop in the country.

Coral will also gain a prominent brand presence throughout the Riverside, on LED advertising boards, on the stadium's giant screen and in matchday programmes. It will also be featured on the club's official website and social media channels.

"We are delighted to extend our partnership with Coral," Middlesbrough head of partnerships Lee Fryett said. "Coral is one of UK's leading betting and gaming brands and we are excited to be working closely with them to bring their service to our fans on a match day at the Riverside Stadium, as well as a number of exclusive fan offers and promotions throughout the season."

"We are delighted to be forming this exciting partnership with Middlesbrough Football Club as they embark on their mission to return to the Premier League," Coral PR director Simon Clare added. "It promises to be an exciting season ahead for the club and we would like to wish the manager, the players and all the fans the very best of luck."

Last week Coral announced a similar partnership with Sunderland AFC, another of the teams to be relegated from the Premier League last season. Ladbrokes, meanwhile, has partnered Sheffield United, a team promoted to the Championship.
