Online betting and gaming operator Betway has agreed a sponsorship deal with recently-relaunched Brazilian eSports brand Made in Brazil (MIBR).
Betway will serve as a founding sponsor of MIBR alongside popular dating app Tinder, developing exclusive content for fans and gaining rights to a number of the team's media assets.
The sponsorship agreement follows the June acquisition of MIBR by Los Angeles-based eSports organisation Immortals, creating a new MIBR roster for Counter-Strike:Global Offensive featuring members of the now-defunct SK Gaming CS:GO team.
As a result of the acquisition, the MIBR team is relocating to Los Angeles to train at Immortals' campus before participating in the 2018 ESL One Cologne event in July. The tournament is one of the most popular CS:GO events and runs from July 3rd to July 8th.
