Online operator Betfair has signed its second sponsorship agreement in the top tier of Spanish football with La Liga club Sevilla FC.

The Paddy Power Betfair-owned brand will feature on Sevilla's shirt sleeve in official matches for the next two seasons, with the company’s logo also featuring on the front of the club’s training gear.

"We're delighted to have a relationship with this powerful and recognised brand, who will have their logo in two premium spots,” said Sevilla FC director of marketing Ramón Loarte.

Sevilla vice chairman Gabriel Ramos described the deal as a “hugely important alliance built on confidence and loyalty.”

“We're sure that together we will be stronger in conquering the future,” he said. “This partnership is destined to bolster ambitions for today and the future.”

The agreement adds to Betfair’s existing betting partnership with Barcelona. Last week rival bet365 significantly expanded its presence in the Spanish football market by agreeing betting partnerships with ten La Liga clubs.
