Online betting and gaming operator Betway has signed its latest eSports sponsorship deal, teaming up with Invictus Gaming for the upcoming Dota 2 professional season.

The agreement includes this month’s popular eSports event, The International, with Betway having exclusive access to the team for content creation.

The deal will also see the Invictus Gaming team feature the Betway logo on their Dota 2 jerseys throughout the year-long sponsorship.

“We are delighted to seal this sponsorship deal with Invictus Gaming, which marks our entry into the Dota 2 market,” said Betway managing director Anthony Werkman. “A strong brand with a rich history in esports, Invictus Gaming are one of the few teams to win The International, and we are extremely proud to bring them into the Betway family.

“After seeing incredible success in CSGO, we can’t wait to replicate our market leading content in Dota 2 through this landmark partnership.”

The deal marks Betway’s first venture into Dota 2, with the operator already sponsoring the upcoming CS:GO Major event in September, as well as the CS:GO Pro League and Brazilian esports brand MIBR.
