Charity lottery operator Rieves has been sanctioned by the UK Advertising Standards Authority for featuring scratchcards on its website that may be of particular appeal to children.

The scratchcards in question were only available for sale in retail locations and were presented on a reference-only website to provided players with further information about specific games. As such, Rieves said that the images did not constitute marketing or advertising.
