Online betting and gaming operator Betway has signed its second betting partnership in Germany’s Bundesliga following a tie-up with Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Betway has signed a three-year-deal with Dusseldorf, which was promoted from the second tier of German football last season, to serve as the Bundesliga club's official betting partner until the end of the 2020/21 season.

This marks the latest football sponsorship deal for the operator, which has served as the principal sponsor of English Premier League side West Ham United since 2015.

Betway has further partnerships with Bundesliga club Werder Bremen, Belgian First Division A club Anderlecht, Italian Serie A club AS Roma and three Spanish La Liga clubs, Deportivo Alaves, CD Leganés and Levante UD.

“It’s been a very busy summer at Betway,” said managing director Antony Werkman. “Following three deals with La Liga clubs in Spain and AS Roma in Italy, we’ve today strengthened our hand in the German market by partnering with Dusseldorf.

“It’s an exciting time for the club, having just been promoted to the Bundesliga, and we’re really pleased to have come on board as they look to build on last season’s success.”
