Kindred Group-owned betting and gaming operator Unibet and brand ambassador Nicky Henderson have been reprimanded by the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) over a tweet which should have been identified as a marketing communication.

A tweet from the official Twitter account of racehorse trainer Henderson on October 27th stated: “We’re underway with the jumps and my exclusive @unibet blog is now ready to read …”. A link to the blog was included.

One complainant, who believed that Unibet had editorial control over the tweet, challenged whether it breached the CAP Code.
