Online betting and gaming operator Betway has renewed its betting partnership with the world’s largest esports company ESL.

The extension includes an option to renew for another year, and sees Betway continue as the exclusive betting sponsor of the largest CS:GO events on the circuit, including IEM Katowice, ESL One Cologne and Season 9 and 10 of the ESL Pro League.

The partnership gives Betway exclusive “behind the scenes” access, VIP hospitality, in-stream and in-stadia branding, as well as host of experiential and digital assets.

“ESL are among the elite event organizers across the global esports landscape, so we’re delighted to extend this relationship following another successful year for all involved,” said Adam Savinson, head of esports at Betway. “At Betway we remain committed to reaching and entertaining even more esports fans around the globe.”

Bernhard Mogk, senior vice president of global sales and business development at ESL, said: “We are glad to continue our partnership with such a strong and reliable partner like Betway. Having Betway as a truly global partner, across various CS:GO tournaments and leagues, creates benefits for fans all over the world.”

ESL has also extended its partnership with online prepaid payment provider paysafecard, part of global payments provider Paysafe Group.

As a global sponsor, paysafecard will continue to support all ESL flagship tournaments and leagues including ESL One, Intel Extreme Masters and ESL Pro League circuits, as well as several National Championships.

“ESL and paysafecard have more in common than a long and successful collaboration,” said Mogk. “We share the same passion and focus on the esports community, and together we want to further develop the industry and generate the sustainable growth of the ESL ecosystem on every level. We look forward to raising the bar for esports again in 2019 and beyond together with paysafecard.”
