Danish gambling regulator Spillemyndigheden has reminded operators to refrain from using the word “free” when describing bonus offers that are attached to wagering requirements.
The regulator issued the reminder to licensed operators on Monday, noting that the Danish Consumer Ombudsman had established back in 2016 that the use of the word “free” when advertising a bonus offer is misleading if the offer involves a turnover requirement.
