Coingaming Group’s cryptocurrency sports betting brand has been named as the official shirt sponsor of Brazilian football side Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.

The deal will see the operator’s logo feature on the shoulder blade (chest) of Flamengo’s famous black and red playing shirt for the 2019/2020 season. has already been unveiled as an official betting partner of the club, with the operator benefiting from branding at the club’s training ground, the Ninho do Urubu, as well as digital advertising across social channels.

“We are incredibly proud to be a global partner of Flamengo, which is no doubt, the biggest club in Brasilian football,” said CEO Tim Heath. “Starting our relationship as a digital and media partner in 2019, it was a simple decision to take our sponsorship to the next level, and have our logo on the famous red and black shirt.

The deal is the second major football sponsorship deal by the operator following its recent agreement to become a principal sponsor of Watford FC in the English Premier League.
