Sports media and betting provider theScore has been named as an authorized sports betting operator of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The new multi-year partnership sees theScore gain access to official NBA betting data, including league marks and logos, for its theScore Bet mobile sportsbook app.

theScore and the NBA will also work together on best-in-class practices to protect the integrity of NBA games.

“We’re delighted to work with the NBA to create new and exciting sports betting experiences for basketball fans,” said theScore founder and CEO John Levy. “This collaboration will help us enhance our offering as we work to provide theScore’s highly engaged media app users a best-in-class integrated betting experience.”

Shares in Score Media and Gaming Inc (CVE:SCR) closed in Toronto down 3.53 per cent at CAD$0.82 per share Wednesday.
