Canadian provincial lottery operator Loto-Quebec has resumed retail lottery sales at select locations following a six-week shutdown due to COVID-19.

Retail venues in Quebec with street entrances were allowed to resume lottery sales Monday after being ordered to suspend sales in late March as part of efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus, with all sales moving online as a result.

The sale of lottery tickets at retailers without a street entrance, such as those in shopping centres, remains suspended until further notice, with the suspension also applying to Loto-Quebec kiosks.
