As PartyGaming and bwin continue to progress towards the completion of their proposed merger, experienced business executive Simon Duffy has been appointed non-executive chairman of the yet-to-be-named enlarged group.
Duffy has held a number of executive and non-executive positions in a wide range of business sectors and will begin his new role as chairman following completion of the merger, scheduled for the first quarter of 2011.
