The Netherlands Ministry of Justice has presented a report to the House of Representatives on the prevalence of gambling and gambling addiction in the country. According to the report, Dutch citizens’ participation in illegal online gambling has nearly doubled over the past five years while participation in all other forms of gambling has declined, as has the number of problem gamblers.
