An Israel court has ruled that the country’s police do not have the authority to order Internet Service Providers to block access to offshore online gambling sites.
The ruling came in response to a lawsuit by the Israel Internet Association (ISOC) which was filed against Israel Police last August, following the issuance of an order last June requiring the country’s top ISPs to block access to a list of offshore gambling sites frequented by Israelis.
