The Texas Lottery Commission has confirmed the award of a new nine-year contract to Lottomatica Group subsidiary GTECH Corporation for lottery operations and services, at a savings of more than US$18m per year to the state of Texas – equivalent to more than $160m over the duration of the contract based on current ticket sales levels.
