Republican Congressman Joe Barton introduced his much anticipated internet poker bill Friday in the House of Representatives with bipartisan support from 11 co-sponsors.
Barton said the bill is focused on consumer protection and will create an interstate licensing program for online poker sites, while at the same time allowing states to opt out if they choose not to participate.
