Australia’s Melbourne Racing Club has signed a new major sponsorship deal with bookmaker Sportingbet, including the naming rights to Sandown Racecourse, replacing online betting exchange Betfair who had been club’s major sponsor for the past three years.
As part of the agreement, Sandown Racecourse will be renamed Sportingbet Park, while the company will also benefit from additional race sponsorship commitments including the Sportingbet Sandown Cup, and strong signage presence and race sponsorships at MRC’s flagship track, [...]
