Denmark’s state-controlled gaming operator Danske Spil has launched online poker and casino in the newly liberalised Danish market through its partnership with bwin.party digital entertainment plc.
bwin.party was awarded a five year contract to supply an online casino and poker platform to Dansk Spil in January 2010, which was subsequently revoked following a challenge by rival platform provider Playtech.
It is understood however that Dankske Spil was able to re-enlist bwin.party without the need for a re-tender.
