Social networking giant Facebook has agreed to block gambling advertisements targeting consumers in the Netherlands if it is advised to do so by the Dutch Gaming Authority.
The Gaming Authority said Sunday that Facebook was fully committed to complying with Dutch gaming legislation and that it has agreed to block advertisements for illegal gambling providers, if the Gaming Authority notifies it that the advertiser is targeting consumers in the Netherlands without a license.
