Zynga’s Mark Pincus has stepped down as chief executive of the company and will be replaced by Microsoft’s president of interactive entertainment Don Mattrick.
Pincus will remain with the company however as chairman of the board of directors and chief product officer. He will also work closely with Mattrick in a newly-formed executive committee which will manage the operation and affairs of the company on a day-to-day business.
