22nd July 2013 9:47 am GMT

UK developer GameAccount Network has signed a multi-year deal to enable Australian land-based slots developer Reel Time Gaming to enter the burgeoning online gaming market in Europe.

Based in Bribane, Reel Time provides machine-based slot games in a number of continental European markets, and is best known for its German market-leading slot games including Eye of Horus.

Other popular games developed by the company include the likes of 7 Seas Pirates, Derby Day and Dragon’s Flame among others.

Similar to its recent deals with slot developers Aristocrat and Ainsworth, GameAccount will develop and deliver a selection of Real Time’s land-based games to the online gaming world, starting with the Italian and UK markets.

GameAccount CEO Dermot Smurfit said that the company’s mission was to enable land-based casino slot manufacturers to swiftly move online into Europe and North America's regulated internet gaming markets.

“Content partners are selected based on their track record and the compelling nature of their casino slot gaming content which generally out-performs online-native equivalents,” said Smurfit. “We are delighted to welcome Reel Time Gaming as a content partner within GameAccount Network, and we look forward to bringing high quality facsimiles of their compelling machine-based games online and distributing them into regulated internet gaming markets such as Italy and the UK and, in due course, Spain and New Jersey.”

Reel Time Games’ managing director Martin Visocnik said he was delighted to bring he company’s casino slot games online via the GameAccount Network as a “viable low-cost alternative to developing and maintaining our own Remote Gaming Server and establishing operator integrations of our own.”

“Regulation has only begun to reshape the landscape of Internet gaming and we're confident that our content, online within GameAccount Network's Internet Gaming System, will benefit greatly from their distribution reach into fast growing regulated casino slot gaming markets such as Italy,” he said.

Visocnik was previously a casino slot game developer with gaming giant Novomatic and was involved in the design of popular game Book of Ra.
