New UK Gambling Bill approved by Parliament

The UK government's bill to regulate online gambling on a point-of-consumption basis was approved Tuesday in the House of Commons.

The Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Bill amends the Gambling Act of 2005 by requiring all British-facing remote gambling operators to hold a licence from the Gambling Commission, irrespective of where the gambling operator or equipment is located.
