Swedish casino games developer Net Entertainment has paid out a €2.9m jackpot to a Swedish resident playing on Unibet’s Maria.com brand.
The middle-aged jackpot winner, from Jönköping in Sweden, won the jackpot playing a desktop version of the progressive pooled jackpot game Mega Fortune. The player bet only 70 cents to win the prize.
It is Net Entertainment’s second largest payout in 2014 following a €3.3m payout to a 50-year-old man from Southern Finland last month.
