Shares in BetClic Everest Group subsidiary bet-at-home.com rose by more than 7 per cent in Frankfurt yesterday after the company posted a 63 per cent improvement in net profit for the first quarter of 2013.
bet-at-home.com said that the increase in profitability was a result of a planned reduction in its advertising expenses due to the lack of a major sporting event in the current financial year.
