South Australia is to enforce a ban on the advertising of live odds betting from August 1st, after fast-tracking changes to current regulations into law.
As a result of the ban, live odds may no longer be broadcast on public television, pay TV or radio, while gaming operators are also blocked from displaying in-play ads at sporting venues, with those found to be in breach of the regulations to be hit with harsh penalties.
