Malta’s gambling regulator the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) has launched a consultation on the use of cloud-based solutions in iGaming and a certification programme for cloud service providers.
The LGA says that cloud-based solutions will allow operators to cut infrastructure and operational costs, ensuring better management and allocation of IT resources, as well as allowing for more flexibility and scalability of operations.
