The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has appointed Labour peer Lord Faulkner of Worcester as its new chairman.
He replaces John Godfrey, who has retired as chairman after fourteen years.
Lord Faulkner has a long involvement with the gambling sector, having been a member of the joint parliamentary scrutiny committee on the draft gambling bill that became the 2005 Gambling Act, and chairing an all-party inquiry into betting on sports. He is also a serving commissioners at [...]
