CryptoLogic in Games Deal with Betclic

14th December 2009 8:46 am GMT

Online games developer CryptoLogic Limited has announced a multi-year agreement to license at least five of its online slot games to France's Betclic.

The CryptoLogic games are being integrated via Gaming Technology Solutions' (GTS) platform, with the first game already live, providing CryptoLogic with a recurring revenue stream over the term of the agreement.

"We are excited about the prospect of adding quality branded content to our current portfolio," said Nicolas BĂ©raud, CEO of BetClic. "CryptoLogic games are instantly recognisable and are developed to the highest industry standards. This partnership further enhances our commitment to offering the best gaming experience to our diverse customer base."

Brian Hadfield, President and CEO of CryptoLogic, said the agreement with Betclic demonstrated the demand for the company's games and provided it with a new and recurring revenue stream.

CryptoLogic today also unveiled a new downloadable game line up including, amongst others, Superman, Braveheart and Forrest Gump branded games.

"Big brands drive player popularity, and that is why CryptoLogic is excited to launch a game based on Superman, one of the most iconic brands of the entertainment world," said Hadfield. "By also adding Forrest Gump and Braveheart, CryptoLogic continues its industry leadership in launching branded games that resonate with both the casual and serious player. We aim for these games to be both popular and profitable."

Shares in CryptoLogic Limited (Co. Profile) (LSE:CRP) will commence trading this morning in London at 197.50 pence per share.
