Australia’s High Court has declined to grant gaming operators Tabcorp and Tatts special leave to appeal in respect of last year’s judgment relating to the Health Benefit Levy.
That decision by the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria last July saw both companies ordered to pay a combined AUD485m in levies from their gaming operations in Victoria.
