Singapore law enforcement officials have arrested twelve individuals over their suspected involvement in providing illegal online gambling services in the country.
Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted raids at various locations Sunday, seizing a total of $251,000 in cash alongside computers, mobile phones and documents such as betting records.
Twelve men, aged between 20 and 52, were also arrested on suspicion of receiving football bets amounting to around $200,000 in the past two weeks.
