Binary options trader Optieclub has been issued an operating licence to legally offer its products to customers in the Netherlands by the country’s financial regulator, the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM).
The AFM said however that it has issued the licence “under protest,” having been ordered to do so by the Rotterdam Administrative Court after originally rejecting the application on the basis that its services were too similar to online betting products.
