UK proposes legislative amendments for binary options

HM Treasury, the UK government’s economic and finance ministry, has invited comments on proposed legislative amendments for certain binary options to be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority instead of the Gambling Commission.

It is part of a broader consultation looking at making financial markets more efficient and resilient, increasing competition and strengthening the protection of investors.
