Denmark’s regulated gaming market has recorded an 8 per cent increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) to DKK1,195m (€160.2m) for the first quarter of 2015, with online casino enjoying strong growth over the period.
According to figures released by Danish gambling regulator Spillemyndigheden, online casino GGR rose 22 per cent to DKK310m during the quarter, including DKK45m from poker, which fell 10 per cent year-on-year.
