The South African government has launched a public consultation on its proposed National Gambling Policy, which includes plans to block financial transactions between online gaming operators and players in the country.
The consultation was launched by Trade and Industry Minister Dr. Rob Davies after obtaining cabinet approval for the proposed policy, which centres on limiting gambling opportunities to combat problem gambling.
