Plus500 shareholders have voted overwhelmingly in favour of Playtech’s proposed £459.6m acquisition of the AIM-listed spread betting and CFD provider.
At the company’s Special General Meeting (SGM) earlier today, an overwhelming majority of 93.4 per cent of the votes cast, representing 71.8 per cent of Plus500’s total voting power, approved Playtech’s cash acquisition of the company.
