Online gaming giant bet365 generated a net profit of £327.6m for the year ended March 29th, after recording a 15 per cent increase in turnover to £1.57bn during the period.
Amounts wagered rose 31 per cent to £34.68bn, as the operator benefited from the 2014 World Cup which generated a significant number of new customers during the traditionally slower betting period of June and July.
