With New Jersey continuing to lead the fighting for legalised sports betting in the US, Pennsylvania lawmaker Nick Kotik has introduced a bill proposing to allow the state’s land-based casinos to offer sports betting to its customers.
House Bill 1627 was introduced this week by Democratic Representative Kotik, and proposes amending Titles 4 (Amusements) and 18 (Crimes and Offences) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes in order to allow pool betting and bookmaking in licensed casinos.
