Georgia Senator introduces bill to legalise fantasy sports

The push to legalise fantasy sports in US states continues to gain momentum with a Georgia State Senator the latest to propose a bill to legalise the game.

Republican Senator Renée Unterman has put forward Senate Bill 352, which aims to amend the Official Code of Georgia to provide consumer protection for fantasy contest players.

It requires operators to register with the state Attorney General and authorises the office to establish rules and regulations for fantasy contests, including civil penalties.
